Hood Flew up

So i was driving home tonight after hanging out at my buddies house around 12. Well im accelerating from a stop light (prob going around 40 mph_ when all of a sudden i heard a loud crash and my window went black..all of a sudden i realized my seibon ts hood had flew up and smashed into the wind shield of my car

I got out of the car to realize my fenders were destroyed in the area by the windshield and my hood was completely ****ed up.Some how the wind shield didnt break but i am so lucky this was on a side street going slow versus being on the freeway.

Im just really pissed because i called a pretty reputable company that many drivers by their after market body kits from to buy some hood pins from them. I was told that i wouldnt need them because seibon is a reputable company and u really only need it for going 100 mph+

So let this be a lesson to everyone! Please buy hood pins for your hoods because i dont want to see someone killed by this type of bs...Someone was definitely looking over me tonight thank god

That happen to me once. But it was a car I was looking at and I cause the hood to open. But the owner didn't know it was me and I got $500 off of what he was selling it for.

I don't care what anyone tells you. Hoods pins are a MUST for any carbon fiber hood. To drive without them is beyond me.

Glad to see you learned your lesson and you are OK.
